We do apps for iPhone and Android. Codebusters wanted an app that would provide remote medical coders with the on the job information.
Vincent Kobayashi is a visionary client. He initially began discussing an app for the iPhone winter 2009. He knew that he wanted an app that would provide remote medical coders with the kind of information they needed to have available when entering patient records.
Codebusters (http://codebusters.com) specializes in hiring and utilizing remote medical coders for hospitals throughout the United States. Linda Kobayashi has been active within the field for decades and publishes several reference guides considered by many to be the ultimate reference tool for correct encoding for hospital patient records.
When Baseline Creative began working on the iPhone app project, the goal was to provide a reference tool for tens of thousands of coders throughout the USA. As the project came to fruition, everyone agreed it would be beneficial to not only create an iPhone app, but also to release versions for Android and iPad. Fortunately, Baseline Creative had generated a codebase that can be easily reconstructed and delivered in numerous formats with minimal time requirements. The Codebusters ICD-9 Mentor 2010 App was just finalized and will be submitted for review and release in the iTunes Store.
Update: The Codebusters ICD-9 Mentor 2010 App is now avaialble for all Android devices and can be found in the Android Market or right here at Android Zoom.
